I have been on two retreats now with Gypseco and both times I have left more confident in my mind, body and soul, not just in the surf or yoga practices but it building genuine connections and the knowledge that I am capable of anything I put my mind to and am greatfull for these amazing ladies for creating a space where I am able to see and understand that for myself! What an amazing experience I had with Gypsea in Lombok! Gyps and Rina were amazing welcoming hosts and facilitated us girls through morning movement and 4 awesome surf days plus lots more activities. No day was the same and I’ve learnt so many new practises to integrate into my daily life. I saw so much improvement in my surfing and confidence in the water over such a short time and it was amazing building my skills amongst the most beautiful bunch of girls. Yallingup 2026 was my first gypsea co retreat and I am so grateful I took a chance and booked it! It was such a refreshing and welcoming space to be in for a weekend. The group of girls were all so incredible to meet and get to know. Gypsie has a big bank of knowledge and wisdom to share with you that you can take away from the retreat and use in the real world. Tay is such a fun bundle of energy to be around and get to know. It was so wholesome having the most incredible weekend with a bunch of new girls learning new skills together. The food and accomodation were 10/10. Learning to surf with the coolest chicks from Yallingup surf school was a highlight of the weekend. If you’re not sure about spending the money or nervous about meeting a bunch of new people it is absolutely worth the money and doing the retreat with “strangers” made it even more special and I’ve left with a bunch of new like minded mates!

Gypsie & Tay hosted such a beautiful retreat. Vibes were always flowing throughout the whole day. Not being a huge yogi, Gypsie made me feel so comfortable to move and welcome us into meditation. The weekend was filled with such wholesome girlhood moments and still time to slow down and drop in. I left feeling super grateful for this retreat and so happy I booked. In February of this year I attended the Gypsea Co Retreat in Raglan NZ. It was the first time I'd ever travelled outside of Australia at 26 years old- as a really anxious girly this was a really big step for me! Shortly after booking the Retreat, the Gypsea gals set up an Instagram group chat for all those who were attending! This really added to the overall experience,  I had booked and intended to travel solo but after speaking to other girls in the group I actually connected with someone in WA and we flew over together and then met with two other beautiful retreat attendees a couple days before the retreat commenced and travelled to Raglan together after arriving in NZ. This really speaks to the supportive and connected network that the Gypsea Co Retreats curate. Words simply cannot actually encapsulate the Retreat experience itself. It was such a transformative time for me, I really gained a new found confidence within myself and formed incredible friendships and memories I will cherish for life. Each part of the Retreat was created with such detail and thought, an invitation for deep rest and a journey inward. One of my most treasured experiences on the Retreat was the 'heart opening' workshop. A beautifully curated experience in which all the women gathered in a circle, sipping on ceremonial cacao-an invitation to connect and truly be with each other and yourself. I could write on and talk about this experience all day. It truly is woven into the fabric of the woman typing this message, changed and inspired by this journey. The surfing and in depth analysis has really helped me continue on my surfing journey and has become one of my favourite ways to play and have fun. If you're wanting an experience to connect with other like minded women, unwind, play, an invitation to sit with and get to know yourself better, I truly highly recommend. Gypsea Co. Retreat. So good in fact, I'm 6 months out from attending my 2nd Retreat in Japan!! Thank you Rina & Gyps- oh and the beautiful Kelly who was also on our Retreat. Truly incredible experience!!

I recently had the pleasure of attending Gypsea Co's surf retreat in Yallingup, and it was nothing short of incredible! From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed into a serene environment filled with positivity and good vibes. Every day started with invigorating yoga sessions that beautifully set the tone for the day ahead. The breakfasts, lunches, and dinners were nourishing and delicious, perfectly fueling our adventures. I particularly appreciated the yoga and meditation sessions, which helped center us before hitting the waves and wind us down after a long day. As a beginner surfer, I struggled with consistently popping up on my board before this retreat. However, thanks to the fantastic surf lessons, I can confidently say that I’ve overcome that hurdle 🥰 But the best part was the incredible connections I made with the loveliest like-minded ladies. A bunch of us are already planning another surf trip together! It’s amazing how this retreat not only enhanced my surfing abilities but also enriched my life with new friendships.
